WWE Crown Jewel 2018 Full Match Card Info

Brock Lesnar to battle Braun Strowman for the vacant Universal Championship

Don’t miss WWE Crown Jewel tomorrow, featuring Brock Lesnar against Braun Strowman for the vacant Universal Championship, the first-ever WWE World Cup tournament to determine the best in the world and DX against The Brothers of Destruction.

Brock Lesnar to battle Braun Strowman for the vacant Universal Championship

Following Roman Reigns’ announcement that he would relinquish the Universal Championship to battle his returning leukemia, the two Superstars he was scheduled to defend it against will still battle for the vacant title at WWE Crown Jewel.
Brock Lesnar and Braun Strowman will contend for the title at the Crown Jewel event, bringing a titanic rivalry back to the forefront. Though both Superstars had lately been drawn into Reigns’ orbit — The Big Dog defeated Lesnar for the title thanks in part to Strowman’s presence as the Money in the Bank contract-holder; The Beast then retaliated by crashing Strowman’s attempted cash-in at WWE Hell in a Cell — the two goliaths have plenty of scores to settle on their own. Strowman unsuccessfully challenged Lesnar for the title last year at WWE No Mercy, then made a second attempt at the prize in a Triple Threat Match at the 2018 Royal Rumble event that also involved Kane. Lesnar retained by pinning The Big Red Machine in that contest, a development that prompted Strowman to proclaim, loudly, that Lesnar had not beaten him.
If The Beast Incarnate wants to regain the prize he lost and resume his goal of becoming a two-sport champion, he’ll have no such out this time around. And for Strowman, the opportunity to hold Raw’s crown jewel in his hands has never been closer. All he has to do is the one thing he has never accomplished.
WWE Crown Jewel streams live on the award-winning WWE Network Friday, Nov. 2, and will be available on pay-per-view outside of the Middle East with regional broadcast information forthcoming.

Triple H & Shawn Michaels vs. The Undertaker & Kane

Are you ready? Shawn Michaels, stepping back into the ring for the first time since 2010, partners with Triple H in a Tag Team Match for the ages at WWE Crown Jewel, as D-Generation X take on The Brothers of Destruction, The Undertaker & Kane.
The storm between these two dominate forces raged after a cataclysmic Last Time Ever clash at WWE Super Show-Down. Michaels and Kane did a lot more than watch from the sidelines as Triple H and The Undertaker battled it out in a hellacious No Disqualification Match, which concluded with HBK helping his DX brethren score the victory. As the four Superstars stood together in the ring, it appeared both sides had made their peace and were ready to move on. That is, until The Deadman and The Big Red Machine unloaded pure fury on Michaels and The Game, leaving a trail of broken tables and battered frames in their wake. After the chaos of the earth-shattering confrontation, a demolition derby awaits when these generational icons collide on Friday, Nov. 2.

WWE Champion AJ Styles vs. Samoa Joe

The Samoan Submission Machine is on a collision course with a phenomenal champion this Friday. In the wake of a vicious assault, WWE Champion AJ Styles will once again go head-to-head with Samoa Joe at WWE Crown Jewel in a long-standing rivalry that has become more personal than ever.
Styles and Joe have engaged in anarchy over the last few months, and just when the WWE Universe thought it may be able to catch its breath from the barrage of verbal and physical attacks, Samoa Joe suddenly reemerged on the Oct. 30 edition of SmackDown LIVE to unleash an all-out onslaught on The Phenomenal One and Daniel Bryan following a grueling WWE Championship Match between the two.
In the wake of the surprise beatdown, SmackDown General Manager Paige honored Styles’ request that she once again put him into a ring with arguably his most bitter adversary.
Will Styles get the level of retaliation on The Samoan Submission Machine that he has been craving after all that Joe has said and done to his family? Or will Joe take advantage of The Phenomenal One’s anger and defeat his nemesis for the WWE Championship?

Eight-Man World Cup Tournament to take place at WWE Crown Jewel

The historic WWE Crown Jewel pay-per-view will feature a monumental one-night World Cup Tournament, featuring eight of the top Superstars from Raw and SmackDown LIVE battling it out to determine the best in the world.
Acting Raw General Manager Baron Corbin designed an impromptu Global Battle Royal to select one of the Raw participants, made of unique (although completely unknown talent) from all over the world, setting himself up to represent the United States. However, his scheme didn’t go according to plan, as a mysterious masked Conquistador stole the victory from The Lone Wolf before revealing himself to be none other than WWE Hall of Famer Kurt Angle, who was back from his “vacation.” Oh, it’s true. It’s damn true!
The first SmackDown LIVE Superstar to qualify for the competition is none other than Jeff Hardy. After the merciless beating he suffered at WWE Hell in a Cell at the hands of Randy Orton, The Charismatic Enigma reemerged with a new aggressive attitude. Capitalizing on the knee injury that Samoa Joe suffered at Super Show-Down, Hardy unleashed a fierce assault on his dangerous opponent until Joe could no longer continue the match.
Speaking of Orton, The Viper became the next Superstar to qualify by besting the returning Big Show on the same night. The Apex Predator will set his serpentine sights on what is sure to be an incredible field of Superstars at WWE Crown Jewel.
Intercontinental Champion Seth Rollins earned his place in the groundbreaking showdown by overcoming Raw Tag Team Champion Drew McIntyre after his then Shield brother-in-arms Dean Ambrose neutralized the disruptive Dolph Ziggler.
Unfortunately for The Lunatic Fringe, when McIntyre interrupted his match against Ziggler, Rollins’ assist misfired, and The Showoff earned his way into the World Cup showdown.
The Miz qualified for his opportunity to become the best in the world by defeating Rusev on SmackDown 1000, thanks in part to Aiden English.
Later that night, the incomparable Rey Mysterio scored a huge victory over Shinsuke Nakamura in his thrilling return to in-ring action. The Ultimate Underdog is back!
Though John Cena was originally slated to be a part of the matchup, that all changed on the Oct. 29 edition of Raw. After Bobby Lashley unleashed a vicious beatdown on Finn Bálor, General Manager Baron Corbin rewarded him by putting him into WWE’s World Cup, replacing Cena, the one Superstar who hadn’t won a qualifying match.
SmackDown LIVE Commissioner Shane McMahon gave Team Blue’s entrants into the tournament an ultimatum: win the whole thing, or “you’ll no longer have a home on SmackDown LIVE.”
Don’t miss the history being made on Friday, Nov. 2, when WWE Crown Jewel streams live on the award-winning WWE Network!
Check out the bracket below for first-round matchups this Friday!

SmackDown Tag Team Champions The Bar vs. The New Day

After a grueling tag team contest during SmackDown 1000 concluded with The Bar winning the SmackDown Tag Team Championship thanks to a massive assist from Big Show, The New Day will get an opportunity to win back the titles at WWE Crown Jewel.
The Bar’s momentous victory on SmackDown LIVE earned the tandem their fifth tag team championship. The epic battle’s aftermath, though, sent a shockwave through the blue brand, especially since it came in part by an alley-oop from The World’s Largest Athlete, who distracted Big E & Xavier Woods when he Chokeslammed Kofi Kingston through a table.
At Crown Jewel, The New Day will have more than a championship in sight when they step up against Sheamus & Cesaro. While redemption will be in their crosshair, so will the towering shadow of The World’s Largest Athlete, though they’d best not take their eyes off The Celtic Warrior & Swiss Cyborg in the process. After all, that’s how all of this started.
Can The Power of Positivity overcome the otherworldly strength of the colossal champions?

United States Champion Shinsuke Nakamura vs. Rusev

WWE has learned that Shinsuke Nakamura will put his title on the line when he battles Rusev as part of WWE Crown Jewel Kickoff.
The destructive clash between The Artist and The Bulgarian Brute will truly be a great way to usher in the monumental pay-per-view event. Plus, don’t miss expert analysis with the all-star panel of Jonathan Coachman, Booker T and David Otunga.
Find out who will walk out with the star-spangled title when WWE Crown Jewel Kickoff streams live on the award-winning WWE Network tomorrow at 11 a.m. ET/ 8 a.m. PT. You can also see the Kickoff on WWE, the WWE App, YouTube, Twitter, Facebook, Google+ and Pinterest.
